Norwich Theatre Royal's Peter Pan runs 5 December to 3 January, tickets from £10, with Joe Tracini as Smee. Every show time, access dates and parking.

Broadland does not stage a big pantomime of its own. The one most families in the district go to is at Norwich Theatre Royal, a short drive or bus ride from Sprowston, Thorpe St Andrew, Hellesdon and Taverham. This year it is The All New Adventures of Peter Pan, from Saturday 5 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, with tickets from £10 (Norwich Theatre: Peter Pan).

Several weekday daytime shows in the first two weeks are schools performances. The schedule lists them as 8 December (10.30am and 2.30pm), 9 December (10.30am), 10 and 11 December (1pm), 15 December (10.30am) and 17 December (1pm). If you want a family audience rather than school groups, pick an evening or a weekend.

The over-15s performance is on Wednesday 16 December at 7.30pm.

The theatre will run a practice fire evacuation after the 5pm show on Tuesday 15 December. It starts after the curtain call and does not affect the performance.

Getting there from Broadland

The theatre is on Theatre Street, Norwich, NR2 1RL. Its nearest car parks, as the theatre lists them, are Chantry Place (NR1 3SH), The Forum (NR2 1TF), Chantry Pay and Display (NR2 1RG), St Giles (NR2 1NH), St Andrews (NR3 3AT) and Rose Lane (NR1 1PY). Taxis can drop off outside on Theatre Street, where there is step-free access (Norwich Theatre Royal: getting here).

By bus, the theatre says First routes 11, 13, 14/15, 21/22, 23, 24, 25/26, 28, 29, 36, 37, 38 and 39 all serve it, with no more than a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Christmas Eve and Boxing Day timetables are not out yet: our Christmas trains and buses page will carry them when First publishes. Before you set off, check roadworks around Broadland. Parking back home is free in all of Broadland’s council car parks: see parking in Broadland.

The theatre has no cloakroom, so keep coats with you.

Is there a panto in Broadland itself?

Not one we can find. We checked the town and parish councils and searched for village productions in Aylsham, Acle, Brundall, Blofield, Sprowston, Hoveton and Wroxham, and none has published a 2026 pantomime. If your group is staging one, tell the newsdesk and we will add it.

The nearest thing to a panto inside the district last year was at BeWILDerwood in Hoveton, whose 2025 Christmas evenings included a 20-minute mini panto. It has not announced its 2026 Christmas event yet. Our BeWILDerwood Christmas page will have the dates when it does.

Still to be confirmed

  • Festive bus timetables, usually published in December.
  • BeWILDerwood’s 2026 Christmas event and whether it includes a mini panto again.
